Technology behind 3D films

We have seen many 3D animation films we used watch those films with the help of special goggles and the object which appears on the screen will come closer to us and here is the small effort to explain the technology behind such films. In the case of normal films the camera will capture one frame, but in the case of 3D films the camera will capture 2 frames one for the left eye and the other for the right eye. With the help of technology it enables both the streams of images are projected from a digital cinema projector. The special polarized goggles will prevent the right eye from seeing what was designed for the left eye, and vice versa. Our brain combines the 2 images to give you a terrific 3D experience. There are fourteen 3D films are slated to release in Hollywood by 2010.
