Its time to say Good Bye to the past and welcome the new year 2010. Like any other thing, cine field with full of magic and virtuality, also welcomes the new year with new beginnings and hollywood or bollywood are no exceptions. Of course 2009 had filled the box office hits worldwide with big films such as Roland Emmerich's 2012, James Cameron's sci-fi dream project Avatar, much awaited installment series Terminator Salvation etc., bags a huge millions and some are still running successfully. When it comes to bollywood, 2009 was the amazing year for the cine-gods especially for Khans. Obviously Aamir Khan has given bollywood's biggest ever hit Ghajini and his latest humorous bomb 3 Idiots makes the biggest collection in his history. but it hasn't met the expectation for King Khan SRK since his Billu was not up to the mark. But it is expected that 2010 will be the good one for king of bollywood, Karan Johar's much awaiting "My Name Is Khan" is going to hit the screens. It is always a fashionable question "Why men cheat on their wives?". It is difficult to find the solution and you will get infinite counts popping up this subject. That's because a recent study says that half of the men tends to cheat their wives apparently they won't admit to it. we have many samples for this right from the former US President Bill Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky, which caused major shook amonst the US politicians (ofcourse to this world too), former tennis legend Boris Becker who got divorced from his wife to the latest hot chip Tigerwoods, we have many examples which are very closer to our life. When you look at these happenings a big question is raised why men cheat? But a study says that it is a natural instinct in them to have more than one partner unfortunately our system doesn't encourage to do so that they have possesion in their mind to have pleasure with more women. Men are biologically programmed to do so hence there is nothing to blame them. But do men always have a reason to cheat his wife? And do you think cheating is done only by men? Our social dynamics has changed in recent years and when it comes to Woods or to a common citizen, there is no specific reason for infidelity I guess they do for an excitement. But I think it is a very vast subject that could be endlessly debated.

Tribute to Brittany Murphy

"Clueless" actress Brittany Murphy, who is nomore had hide her unique talent till death and the actress, who died at the age of 32 on December 20 was worried people wouldn't take her seriously as a singer and she died without recognising herself as a great singer. She was the guest vocalist on Paul Oakenfold's track "Faster Kill Pussycat" - revealed she has been singing on records for years and claims some of the artists had no idea she had contributed to their album. once Paul asked her why not to identify herself as a singer, she revealed "I demoed three other girls on that song - and some of the girls were pretty big singers" – and Brittany had blewed them away. Some singers still don't know that she has worked on their albums. She kept her singing talents always a secret until she was comfortable behind a microphone. And she never got recognised on screen as a singer and it is shame that this world never going to hear songs from her anymore. Hat- Trick Hits For Aamir

Aamir khan is once again back in the lime light for his latest release “3 Idiots” which is creating wonders in box- office. For Aamir it is a Hat Trick hit after his directional debut “Taare Zameen Par” and “Ghajini” which was released in the December of 2007 and 2008. “3 Idiots” has been distributed by Relaince BIG Entertainment with 2000 prints and the movie already earned Rs. 4 crores through paid reviews. Kamal Gianchandani, head of domestic distribution of Reliance BIG Pictures, told that the movie was first screened by 6pm on Thursday despite of the cricket match the show was filled up by the audience. Earlier Aamir’s directional venture “Taare Zameen Par” which was released on December 21, 2007 had grossed Rs. 37 crores in box- office and his next project “Ghajini” which was released by December 25, 2008 grossed over Rs.200 crores in box- office. But Aamir denied that he is not a superstitious person it was a mere coincidence that his last three releases happened to be in December he also adds that “Ghajini was supposed to be an October release, but it had to be postponed to December because I was injured”. His latest flick “3 Idiots” which has been directed by Rajkumar Hirani of “Munna Bhai” fame and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and the casting includes Kareena Kapoor, R Madhavan and Boman Irani. The movie criticizes Indian educational system in a subtle manner.

Now SRK Don's Super Hero Cap

Shahrukh now takes “Super Hero” avatar in his next venture to entertain people. His next project is titled as “Ra.1” which will be produced by his home production Red Chillies Entertainment. In this venture sexy Bebo Kareena will be starred opposite to him. The pair was casted last in Santosh Sivan’s “Ashoka” in 2001. Due to the bitter past Kareena opted out of Karan Johar’s “Kal Ho Na Ho”. With changing times Kareena resolved her rift with SRK and made special appearances in his “Billu” and “Don”. But now sources confirm that Kareena is roped into the project. The script of the movie will be penned by Hollywood’s famous writer-director David Benullo of “Around The World in 80 Days” fame and the project will be directed by Anubhav Sinha who had already directed movies like “Tum Bin, Cash” in the past. Anubhav also added that this will be not a routine Bollywood movie it will have some extra- ordinary visual effects and sound effects. The movie will be mostly shot in US and Mumbai and sexy Bebo will perform some never before stunts in the movie and also the buzz is that SRK will be flying from sky to save the people. Ash & Abhi in Oprah's Show

This is the prestigious moment for the Junior Bachchan and his beloved wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan soon they are going to make their presence in world famous Oprah Winfrey show. Aishwarya who has the international star status has already appeared in the show now his beau Abhishek has also been invited for the show. My Name is Khan in New Heights

The ambitious project of the Karan Johar “My Name is Khan” is going places the recent news is a famous foreign studio has purchased its abroad distribution rights for 95- 98 crores. The SRK- Kajol the hottest pair of B- town is going to sizzle on screen after “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam”. Karan Johar has roped in the foreign studio in order to make his dream venture as successful one. Karan also adds that “Only a major foreign studio has the capability to take Indian cinema to the international market”. As trade pundits say that this is the huge amount for any Indian studio. The movie is also created a new record by releasing in 600 theatres in North America. It also be said that it’s the widest release of any Bollywood film in North America. Jim Gianopulos CEO of the foreign studio said that “My Name is Khan” is releasing worldwide with 2000 prints. “MNIK is a powerful, emotional journey that will cross borders and cultures to enthrall the audiences. Karan and Shah Rukh Khan have a brilliant vision”. As “My Name is Khan” is creating waves before its release.

The ad is made for the renowned media corporation. The ad has SRK and Tisca chopra in the lead. The TV commercial was conceptualized and created by most popular lyricist and ad industry baron Prason Joshi and McCann World Group Team. The TV commercial was directed by Bollywood’s ace director Anurag Basu and the small girl who featured in the ad is Anurag Basu’s daughter who adores King Khan as god. Shahrukh Khan was paid a whooping amount of 10 crores for the commercial. But the total value of the campaign is said to be 30 crores.

The Expendables

Yet another big bonanza in Hollywood is waiting for us. The multi starrer movie is titled as “The Expendables” which is written by Sylvester Stallone and has heavy weight star cast which includes Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Eric Roberts, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Mickey Rourke, Bruce Wills, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The plot of the movie revolves around a group of highly trained military personal’s who are on a mission to South America for the assassination of the dictator who causes devastation to South America for past 20 years. And also who is the reason behind the unspeakable corruption that also concludes with tragedies such as murder of American hostages and betrayal of foreign policies. The shoot of the movie started by March 28 2009 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and locations also includes Mangaratiba, Niteroi, Guanabara Bay and Parque Lage. The budget of the movie is estimated as $70 million and the movie is produced under the banner of Lionsgate Entertainment, Millennium Films and NU image. The sound tracks are composed by Brain Tyler who has already scored music for Stallone’s Rambo 4 last year. The trailer of the movie was screened at Venice Film Festival on October 13. The action entertainer is slated to release by August 20, 2010. Let the Expendables be Enjoyable.

John is paired with Anne Hathaway

The bollywood macho man John Abraham is going go to get paired with the sexy siren Scarlett Johansson or with Anne Hathaway of “Get smart” fame in his next project which is going to be directed by Farah Khan. The film is titled as “Alien Sahib” and the movie is going to be produced jointly by Farah Khan, Shirish Kunder and John himself. As John has a very good appearance and also the very sexiest Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder has signed him. When contacted Shirish he told that “The story has a tremendous international appeal. The female protagonist is a foreign national so we decided to cast a Hollywood actress for it. Today, actors abroad are aware of the work we do and are open to working in films here. We have the means and we are doing what’s best for the film.” We also hear that the Hollywood actress will be playing the character with grey shades. Shirish has also moved to Los Angles to finalize the deal with A- list stars of Hollywood. Mean while John is very keen in conceptualizing the script perfectly as it is. Let’s wish them all success.
